But see, the notoriety of these titles is what makes them so important. Why do the LotR movies do so well, despite the fact that 90% of people can't stand to sit through one in it's entirety? Why do the Harry Potter movies do so well, despite the fact that they butcher the stories, have a screwy plot that you won't understand unless you read the books, and that can't even stay true to each other (i.e., the set changes between 2 and 3)? It's all in the name. About those games, Banjo ain't coming until '09. All they've shown so far is one CGI trailer back at X06 last September. Killzone 2 anyone? As for Halo Wars, yeah it has the Halo name, but it's an RTS, and I still don't think an RTS will be that successful on a console. If it was debuting simultaneously pc/360, then I could see it selling pretty well. |
then technically ff 13 isnt till 09 as well, theyve shown 2 trailers for it, and one was behind doors
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.
Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.
