Hmm making i could show some awsome pics as well, really it only comes down to that ps3 has a few well more known things coming in 08

o also, i think Banjo is a proven IP, and Halo wars, just cause it has the name halo in it, along with the possible halo project.

But see, the notoriety of these titles is what makes them so important. Why do the LotR movies do so well, despite the fact that 90% of people can't stand to sit through one in it's entirety?  Why do the Harry Potter movies do so well, despite the fact that they butcher the stories, have a screwy plot that you won't understand unless you read the books, and that can't even stay true to each other (i.e., the set changes between 2 and 3)?  It's all in the name.

About those games, Banjo ain't coming until '09. All they've shown so far is one CGI trailer back at X06 last September. Killzone 2 anyone?

As for Halo Wars, yeah it has the Halo name, but it's an RTS, and I still don't think an RTS will be that successful on a console. If it was debuting simultaneously pc/360, then I could see it selling pretty well.

then technically ff 13 isnt till 09 as well, theyve shown 2 trailers for it, and one was behind doors

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.
