They have said lots of other stuff too that has been only marketing talk. So no, this isn't pointless.

i guess all we can do is wait for a year. i think its pointless as they have stated 3 different times thats its not a new system since E3 but to each his own.

That's what we were discussing, what are the odds for a new console and new SKU.
