Best console graphics!

Next, Megaman treats us to his newest Top 5 listing: the world's top 5 tallest midgets!

Just add Crysis and Crysis Warhead on place 1 and 2, then you have "Best graphics"

it IS that easy.

Nah. Mirror's Edge would jump from "pretty good," as it is on consoles, to "better than anything but Crysis" on PC. If you haven't seen it, it's fantastic.

And then there are RTS, like Dawn of War II, which have exceptional graphics. That game would absolutely demolish the PS3/360. It would run even worse than Supreme Commander did on the 360.

Of course, RTS tend to be discounted because people usually mean individual character models when they talk about graphics, not a more general sense of graphical accomplishment. The fact that RTS tend to have modestly detailed characters automatically makes them "bad," even if the game then proceeds to show 200 of those characters on screen simultaneously all acting independantly.

But, yeah. Mirror's Edge PC. Dawn of War II would chew up the PS3/360 and spit them out in 10 seconds.

ill explain it again, there is greater technical achivement in doing more with less, there is beter engeneering in Killzone2 and Gears2 than in Crysis, why ?better use of resources means way better techniques been used, so if you need 8GB of ram and a quadra cell with a year 2020 graphic card to render a pixar movie in real time that is not better that Ucharted 2 that can look the way it does, with a modified Nvidia 7300 , a Cell processor and 256MB of ram.

So to be fair we need to wait for crysis 2 on consoles and compare that to Killzone and uncharted 2, if it Looks better then we can give credit to crytek, if not then guerrilla and naugthy dog are much better programers. Also we could put guerrilla and naugthy dog to develop for PC without resource restrictions and see if crysis can match their graphics.
