Do WRPGs' make you sad like JRPGs'?

I think WRPG's are more on the light side of things for story-telling, they can go deep (mass effect) but i've never seen a sad WRPG.  

JRPG's are almost always deep and alot of the time have sad parts in their story's.

And what the hell is a SRPG??
