Wii cable for HDTV

Your TV is surely to blame for the lag. Does your TV have a game mode to improve response time?

 

What NJ5 said is really important.  I game on a HD CRT TV and knew nothing of lag until i played on my friends Bravia, i couldn't believe he had been gaming on it, the lag was instantly noticeable and really disruptive for me even before firing up a game.  Quick switch to gaming mode was all that was needed, improving the situation immeasurably.

I have (my parents) a 52" Samsaung 650. Any chance you would know how to switch to "gaming mode" or know a link, because the options are more confusing then quantum physics.

Sorry, i've no experience with that particular TV.  If no one can answer in here it might be worth starting your own thread for it. Someone on the site is bound to know.

UPDATE: Good/Bad News:

Good: I did research, and Samung apparently not only has "Gamer mode," but a very good one.

Bad: There is NO explanation on where it is or how to switch it. >:(
