The argument started to justify the PS3's price. The PS3 MUST have been graphically superior to the 360, and thus, the 360 must be reaching its potential early, and that is why the graphics are so close. As the generation progresses, the PS3 will pull far ahead, because it is more complex to understand and push, while the 360 is already near its limit, due to ease of development.
I think that argument has been proven wrong here.
