What the hell. There are two things I can't believe here...

1. Pimp slap? What? They basically said "No, you are wrong, we are right"... I hardly think that is going to change Activision's mind, and I don't see any "epic pwnage" or "win" anywhere here. I don't know what you guys are seeing, but give me some of what you're having, please.

2. How can anybody in their right mind act as if Activision abandoning Sony platforms would not be a big deal? Sure, you can assume they're bluffing-- Because I wouldn't be surprised if they are-- but if this isn't a bluff, how could you possibly try to rationalise that it doesn't matter? Activison are the biggest third-party publisher, and them leaving would most likely cause a massive change to the support of the PS3, with a lot of other publishers following suit.

Even if we were to completely ignore that fact, and act as if Activision have no pull, they still have a lot of games. Call of Duty and Guitar Hero are the most noteworthy ones, but Sony would also lose games such as the Tony Hawk franchise, Spider-Man games and all Spyro and Crash Bandicoot games. Sure, those series aren't what they used to be, but a lot of smaller franchises together will make a difference and you know it. And as I said earlier, CoD and GH are big deals and should not be ignored. People need to stop sweeping this under the rug. It may be an empty threat, it probably is an empty threat, but if it isn't there is no feasible way whatsoever that it is not going to be a big deal and hurt Sony very badly.
