Definitely seems logical to me, considering there aren't that many other first party games I can think of they could easily add motion controls to. Of course, it also seems logical that they would want to release GT5 during the holiday season, especially considering they don't have much for it this year (Uncharted 2 is supposed to release in September, after all.)
The fact that the sixaxis can easily handle driving controls already does make the possibility seem a bit less likely, though.
