To be fair, 99% of the userbase for the game isn't using a wheel. They're using a sixaxis. At it's best, a Sonymote would be better than a sixaxis in terms of 'realism'. Plus, it would be a great way to pimp the Sony Mote (and remember from the entire Blu-Ray thing, Sony's entirely fine with crippling one of their properties to promote another one)
@ OP: I don't think you can say it's being 'delayed' when it never had a firm release date in the first place. I always thought GT 5 was going to release in 2010.
Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.
