Such a cherry picked article haha. Looks over all the "hardcore" games that have sold well on it but make sure to point out the ones that don't. What I find even funnier, is when a game does poorly on the Wii or DS it is a big deal but when one flops on the PS3 or 360 they just kinda look it over. Even the PSP, which is full of flops on a daily basis, doesn't even get this kind of attention.
It's almost like they are waiting for the Wii to prove something that it has already proven. Hanging on to that last little shred that for some odd reason makes them feel like they are right. I mean I know people hate Malstrom, but it's things like this that make him look like a genius.
Sure, some of these supposed big core Wii games didn't take off. It happens... trust me. But there were a lot of core 360 and PS3 games released in the same time that had piss poor sales as well. Wii may not have a huge fanbase that goes for the non-Nintendo core games as say PS360, but sales have shown the crowd is there and expanding. |
Flops? Let's compare. At least there are hardcore 3rd parties on PSP , DS only got something like Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Cooking Mama, MySims, Imagine: Babyz, Imagine: Fashion Designer, Hannah Montana etc.
