I used to play Magic several years ago, it was amazing (and I'm sure it still is), best Collectable Card Game ever.

Magic the Gathering always had an huge potential as a video game:
A Free-2-Play Online game with micro-transactions, which would allow you to buy virtual decks and boosters. They could even have an optional monthly subscription that would give you guides, stats free cards and allow you to enter in cash-prize tournaments.

But they always screw up, it's like developers never understood how to translate the game into a videogame. Aren't I right?

Are you being sarcastic or have you actually missed a PC game? o.O

Magic Online

It's actually pretty well done and I had fun with it, I just don't love the microtransactions and not actually owning the cards the I buy (unless I manage to get the whole set).

I know there was one, but I also heard it recieved awful reviews.

About the microtransactions, I heard nowadays that the reallife magic cards come with a code that allows you to put it into the PC game and give you a digital copy of the card for you, but I'm not sure.

To be honest having owning the physical copies of the cards is overrated. Ever since I quit Magic I stashed away my cards in a box in the garage and never touched them again, and I had some pretty cool cards, especially my rare and valuable "Mox Diamond".
