well if it is the dust issue, just buy one of those CD lense cleaners, you can find them at most electronic stores and maybe even department stores.
Basically it's a regular CD with tiny little brushes on one side that brush the dust off your lense.
It's safe and a relatively cheap option ($15AUD for mine), it should resolve the issue if that is the problem.
Otherwise, send it to Nintendo.
