So why do we get Wii Fit plus / Mario Galaxy but no new Mario Kart?

ESP the SNES/N64 tracks.

I love this idea.  Truth of the matter is that the one rubbish thing about Mario Kart Wii (apart from the blue shell) is the new tracks (and GBA Shy Guy Beach and Yoshi's waterfalls).  Apart from Wario's Goldmines all the new tracks are pretty rubbish and far outclassed by the old tracks in the game especially the N64 tracks.
