Although it's by no-means foolproof, the general direction and velocity of any given shot is replicated far more convincingly than it was in Grand Slam, and as such is by far the superior use of the WMP to date.
A few residual issues with the running mechanic aside, VT2009 can now justifiably claim to be the best tennis game available on Wii, and Sumo deserves much credit for utilising the WMP in the way we always assumed it would.
