Well I just beat Prime 1 and 2 on hard a week or so ago and I have to say I don't find them too hard. (besides a few bosses)
Prime 1 - A good challenge but not too hard.
Prime 2 - Boost Guardian >_Prime 3 - From what I remember none of the bosses were too hard even on hypermode all were pretty standard.
Then again I've played through the Prime games many times so I know the bosses like the back of my hand. lol
