The Wii may have 50m consoles available, but Western devs are the most reluctant to address it. Frankly, the userbase still appears to not matter to them right now, and probably won't for the rest of this generation. 360+PS3 is above 50m anyways.
Even when the Wii hits 75 million, you will still have people who could develop for the Wii, don't hate it (like Epic Games does), but just won't do anything for it. Without any incentive to work for/with Nintendo, we will never see their games on Nintendo platforms.
