The pizza is cooked in about 5 minutes and its thin but still doughy with crispy and undercooked parts. Holy shit, its amazing and you will never have pizza like it ever again. |
I've been to Sorrento (the birthplace of mozerella cheese) and I have to say one restaurant there made the nicest pizza I've ever had. We went to dozens and dozens of others places, including restuarants in Venice and Rome, but nowhere matched the quality of pizzas we found in Sorrento. (I didn't have the opportunity to visit Naples.)
The owner made the cheese himself from from fresh Buffalo milk and cooked it in a brick oven, and as you say, it was cooked in a matter of minutes.
Simply delicious.
