I know that stores in the UK paid £112 for a Wii last year, because when I got my Wii free on a phone contract, I got talking to the manager of the store who said they get them off Nintendo wholesale for £112 per unit. Recently Nintendo put the price up to retailers by £20 in the UK, so thats £132 - still a profit of £38 per unit. That really isn't as small as retailers would have you believe (think about it, they aren't going to tell you their profit margin is big when they want you to buy it, are they?).
