There have already been several recommendations, but for these type of questions I don't always just recommend exactly what I like the best... What kind of games do you like, and anyone else in your family that will be playing them too?
I'll skip some of the other recommendations made by others for now...
I'll concentrate on what are fairly casual as that is the only clue you gave so far... (although some are hard core too)

Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure
The cool thing is, I think most if not all of the above except Mario Kart and maybe the latest Rayman are under $20 new.
