WHEN did u give up on Nintendo?

I gave up on Nintendo after I played the Wii, and Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3 and a couple of other games. I just didn't see what all the hubbub about motion controls were, especially when I found myself wishing for a regular dual-analog gamepad while I was playing those games.
