I wonder if reactions like the OP are the unintended consequence of the corporate reactions/decisions of Microsoft and Sony.
In other words, not everyone has -- or will -- suddenly embrace the new standard. And since many of those who did not want motion control went to the Xbox 360 or PS3, they might feel quite betrayed by this latest development, even though it will probably never be as pervasive as some predict or fear.
