I wouldn't be so quick to ignore the possibility yet. There's still a lot of time for a Halo DS games to be announced and the more I think about it, I think it's still a decent sized IF but there's still a decent chance too.

Okay I'll bite. Why do you think so? I havn't heard anything to make me think this might still happen. Aside from Viva Pinata DS. Problem is we don't know why it was ka-boshed in the first place. Would be sweet though!

 Like I said, I simply can't at this date.  I have two reasons that make me think that Halo DS could happen (note that though I do know a guy at Bungie neither of my reasons have specifically anything to do with Halo, just going off things I know for sure): one reason I just can't tell you at this date (and I'll be perfectly happy to come back and explain it when I can talk about it) and the other I simply don't want to talk about it.  I could talk about the second one since I'm not under an NDA about it but I really don't like starting rumors so for the moment I'll just keep that one.

I know it sounds like I'm just making stuff up, perhaps I am for all you know, but that's just how it is.  You don't have to believe in Halo DS based on what I've told you especially since I haven't really told you anything but based on what I know I believe it could happen.
