*shrugs* I work at best buy....as far as I've seen, no matter what the bundle has had in it, they haven't been any price adjustments unless there was an adjustment to the actual hardware in the system. The 80 gb PS3 bundle that is at Target is the same price as the plain 80 gb PS3 we sell at Best Buy. The peripheral wouldn't cause for a raise in price, it would just take out the possibility of coming with a game (other then a likely PSN game that will feature uses for the peripheral). That's my opinion on the matter at least. |
Actually....if you've noticed, everytime Sony drops the price of the PS3, they find a way to keep the price up. Lets just say Sony does a hundred dollar price cut this year; being bundled can keep the price at four hundred dollars, despite the system losing value. Sony did that with the MGS4 bundle that I bought. The Sony motion control will most likely be bundled with a game for $400, after they figure a way to strip another part of the hardware and devalue it. Microsoft on the other hand will probably have more more price drop on the pro models before they add Natal.
