Shouldn't this make people pretty happy. I mean the idea that the market is expanding to include females is awsome I don't see the downside even if the females start to outnumber the males i still don't see the downside infact I only see an up side. If their are more female gamers then male gamers suddenly playing games will actually increase my chances of finding girl friends, up untill now it doesn't really help to be an avid gamer.
So if anything the guys online should be screaming oh yeah Nintendo is attracting girls to gaming. The more girls in gaming the better it will never become a feminine industry so I welcome them with open arms. Of course this will broaden the target demographic to more Animal Crossing and less blood and gore (or maybe thats too biased of me).
Industry growth is never a bad thing and when more chicks game then guys that only makes being a guy gamer all that much better. I mean maybe one day girls will wanna hang out with the highest ranking Halo player in school rather then the football team captain. You never know so for the love of all that is good thank Nintendo for doing such a service to humanity. Making games coed can't be any worse then not being coed.
