Citan, I asked you this before in a previous thread. I will ask you again. What is the last WRPG game you've played. I need to know where you're pulling your idea of a WRPG from.

Fallout 3. I was extremely dissapointed. I expected much more after playing and enjoying Oblivion IV.

Alright fallout 3, perfect example. Of WRPG choices. Take megaton, early in the game you're approuched by Burke in order to blow up Megaton. The game has several outcomes of this encounter. You can do one of the following.
  • Blow up Megaton
  • Disfuse the Megaton Bomb.
  • Report Burke to the authorities.
  • Seduce Burke (Female only.
  • Kill Burke.

Just to name 5 off the top of my head. The outcome you choose will ripple thoughout the game and change many events you will encounter.

JRPGs don't have that. JRPGs generally follow a linear path down the storyline. This is very easily discribed as when playing a JRPG. You are given a protangaist and play though their adventure. IE - Yuri Lowell from Tales of Vesperia. But in WRPG's you are given a identity, but not a actual character. You decide who that character is by the actions you choose. IE - The Wanderer from Fallout 3.

Why must JRPG female leads suck so bad?
