Almost is a relative term I think. If you are considering week 2 sales to week 1 sales then 80% seems like almost 100% to me. If you are comparing year end sales to company forecasts then 20% is quite a way off and so is not almost. If you are comparing the difference between two teams in a match with ended 5-4 then it was almost a draw even though one scored 20% less than the other.
