Why is Pokemons the ONLY JRPG where Grinding is Fun/Acceptable?

That's why you stay relatively close to a Pokemon Center. Free PP Restoration.

 

That's how i made the big long pre-Elite 4 grind tolerable, just hang out in the upper level of Victory Road and periodically return to the Pokemon Center
