Why is Pokemons the ONLY JRPG where Grinding is Fun/Acceptable?

On another note, the only downside to grinding in Pokemon, in my opinion, is PP is limited so you can only use Flamethrower, Zen Headbutt, Earthquake, etc. so many times.
