Not really. Both the PS1 and PS2 were ahead of Nintendo's offerings yet Nintendo's profits were higher than Sony's.

Who's the success story there?

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).
