We all know Olimar and Louie were based on Mario and Luigi, so I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo included 4-player action and added 2 female characters with names like Peechy and Dayzee or something. That would in effect also make it more female- and family-friendly. They're probably gonna do something like that.
Also, it'd be so cool if the main characters had some new species of Pikmin, or could tame monsters, that they could ride on. Such a creature would then probably be called Yooshey or somehting. :p |

Well, I think my first sentence up there answers your question.
It's not like I'd really WANT any of that. It's just that they already put in these Mario references, so I can easily see Nintendo continuing along that line and that I wouldn't be surprised at all if they did.
