What an...interesting take on reality. Sony andMicrosoft playing "me too" is not going to steal much thunder from the Wii. Nintendo has more experience with motion controls than either MS or Sony and judging by E3, they may be the only ones to pull it off competently. But it's not just about the motion controls, it's about the software. Wii Sports sold the Wii. I can't imagine what Sony would pull and Microsoft's ideas would be novel at best judging by their presentations. The Wii successor is going to have HD, Iwata already confirmed this. And Nintendo has been labeled "kiddy" since Sony couldn't come up with anything better in 90's, it hasn't hurt their sales then and it's certainly not hurting them now. I'm sure "HD" and "mature" are one and the same in anti-Nintendoland but in the real world, there is no correlation or logic to support that. There have always been graphics whores, and they are labeled as such because they are always the minority. Graphics does not win a console war, it never has. As long as video games remain as experiences meant to be played, this will remain true. And you can drop this super macho act, bragging about how you "don't care" about the Wii and how it's for your mom. I'm not sure what gave you the impression that we would be impressed by such a reckless attitude but you can stop overcompensating for down there, it's only hurting your argument. |
Please don't make me lose respect for you. I'm telling the truth.
We bought my mom a Wii for mother's day (you can find it in my post history if you'd like) along with Wii Fit.
I'm not looking to impress anyone here as I won't know you in reality. And I don't need to "compensate" down there. Trust me, people here have seen what I pack ;)
