You've really shown yourself up here, pseye has depth perception? like you said it needs wands to read 3d but Natal does it by itself.
Pseye needs a well lit room but natal can work in very dark rooms thanks to the IR it has. You knew that didn't you?

What does it matter the method  if they both get the same thing done? PSEye uses light and color. Natal uses IR signal. The fact of the matter is the PSEYE was here first and came standard with many of these already existing capabilities(facial recognition, voice recognition, etc) proven by tech demos and the like years before. Yea, the PSEYE, when junctioned with motion controllers, can read 3D space and movement. Point? It still does it. Thats using the PSEYE and the controllers can do that.

My main point is that there is very little difference between the two capabilities and the PSEye could do majority of what the Natal is doing from the start.

And my hostility derives from you trying to peg me from start as some raving fanboy when I didn't even say anything wrong. NATAL and PSEYE, very little difference.

You never said the wands. You said that Natal is basically an eyetoy.
Now it's with this and that etc.

No the pseye with extras comes slightly closer to Natal.

You need a wand for each hand then 2 more for your friend if you want two player.
Are you willing to pay that much? at the moment the pseye is nothing more than the xbox vision.
It is not close to Natals capabilities at the moment. It's missing it's biggest feature the 3d movement, then there's the fact you have to use it in a well lit area and if you don't have one and buy a wand to make the most of it you need another wand and an eyetoy.

The natal is all-in-one and more.

If Natal was very similar in tech then why do this?

It seems to me that you're downplaying the features, as well as other features coming to the xbox deliberately and I called you out on it.
