^An AoE IV in the 20th century/modern age and future age would be meaningless to make so soon IMO. There's other RTS that make that well, I forgot which ones but maybe Company of heroes, C&C and Starcraft.
Age of Empires should revisit the medieval times and the ancient times before going forward in time. I wish they could do that. Sort of 3D versions of AoE I and II.
Damn I love AoE I and especially AoE II.
