To me, the way it is done appears to be quick to eliminate the development kit because they are not supposed to have one/no one is supposed to know they have one.

What concerns me is the sloppy shortcut way it chose to do it. The raggedness on the right side of the Wii in the new photo makes it evident that something was removed. If a pix on the website is such a rush job, what might a game be like?

Why are you correlating a quick photoshop possibly done by one guy in 5 minutes to the actual development skills of a development team..?

I am not -- the comment is on the facitious side. But if you think about it, I could be.

I fully realize that the photoshop was proabably a rush job done by the webmaster.  So it is not the quality of the fix that concerns me, but the attutude that it shows. It says to me "Let's fix it 'quick and dirty' and hope no one notices."  Would have have been so difficult to have taken a new picture or even just to have removed the offending picture?  And then to leave the untouched image still on the website, just unlinked -- could be considered careless.

Of course, it could also by some CYA and some viral marketing. Mistwalker trying to hide something without really hiding it.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
