I'm a Wii fan and I still "beg" for Modern Warfare 2 to be on Wii. Why don't I buy it for the PS360, you ask? Because of the IR.
To me, the IR controls feel so much better when playing FPSs, even if I'm not as good with them. I really, really enjoy it. I get bored witth other shooters that aren't controlled with IR, even! I used to play Quake 3 for the PC every day but now I find myself playing the inferior WaW more and more.
This isn't because it has a multitude of nice features, but rather I'm addicted to how well the IR controls are used with the gameplay. I truly enjoy it and THAT is why most of the Wii fans clamor for a port of an HD game. It can be inferior in many other ways but control will not be one of them.
