So that means that new I.P exclusive to the PS3 in general doesn't sell very fast? I say the PS3 userbase must not be open to new things... perhaps the PS3 userbase in general consist with a large proportion of people unwilling to buy anything but the brands they know?

You know, I find this to be true in some situations. At work I run into people who say they own a PS3, but no games for it. They say, "PS3 has no games! I usually play  my 360!" Then I ask them what do they play on 360 and they name some generic Multiplat but that is fine. Then I go on to ask them what games they know about that are on the PS3, they draw a blank. Once I start naming a few games they are all "Oh, I didn't know about that game...." and such.

You see, I think the issue IS that most PS3 gamers are looking for the names of games they have already played before instead of the new IPs that the PS3 is putting out. Not to mention they are completely oblivious to anything that isn't already a house hold name(FF, MGS4, etc) due to Sony's lackluster marketing. I simply blame Sony's terrible marketing strategies up till late. The real reason Infamous is selling faster then Killzone 2? Because I have personally seen an Infamous commercial during every break on Adult Swim(cartoon network) as well as a few other really popular channels, thats why. You would think Sony would have realized now that exposure through more then just word of mouth is what PS3 needs to jump start their games(MS strategy is actually top notch in this department).

I just wish they would get with the program....
