I was one of those people in the beginning who was saying, "NOOO, UNCHARTED DOESN'T NEED MULTIPLAYER! FOCUS ON THE SINGLE PLAYER"
After playing the beta I gotta say that Naughty Dog made a good decision and executed really well. The game is very fun and smooth. Very Gears of War-ish with small 5 v 5 battles and cover system. You level up by gaining money for wins and kills and what not. There is also a "perk" system like COD4 where you can choose to have better accuracy, more ammo, etc.
Right now there are only 2 game modes , Team Deathmatch and a Capture the Flag type game. There are also 2 maps that seem very balanced with tons of places to take cover.
Graphically it is top notch and looks just as good as smooth and detailed as the SP
Overall I can really see myself putting a lot of time into the final game.
