Not many xbox owner will pay much attention to a racing game, Forza 3 or whatever when there are games MUCH MORE APPEALING to the same base released that season such as MODERN WARFARE 2 and HALO ODST. Forza is not that big of a franchise on the 360. If bundled for X-mas sales will be a different story , though. But the 360 fanbase is looking at Halo and MW2 first and foremost. And Assassin's Creed 2 will be bigger than Forza 3 also.

Especially considering that 360's majority of SW sales come from NA where racing isn't that big.

I thought NASCAR was pretty big in the US? I know many many people who are into it. (Yeah I know it is anectodal but damn those stands look really filled during races)

That alone should help GT5 in the US.

I was talking about Forza though. MW2 and a Halo game is going up against Forza this holiday season and they will smother Forza in NA... The Japanese will eat up GT:P... so that leaves Europe to get most of Forzas sales.
