Apple the reason for the PSP Go!s price?

Yes, but Im almost certain that Sony will make more money pricing the system at $249 rather than $200.

At launch, tech inthusiasts won't really care about a difference of $49 and will buy the system regardless, making Sony alot of mooney. If price ever really negatively effects the PSP Go's sales, then there is plenty of room for Sony to cut the price....and still be making profit

The point isn't that Sony are selling it at great profit (yes, I'm sure Sony are happy about that), the point is that Sony are trying to penetrate a new market for the PSP, and if it isn't at the right price point, then it will go unnoticed by the audience the PSP Go! is targetting.
