It's not ignorance. Wii fans CONTINUE to do it. Beg for games you KNOW are not going to be on your system, instead of, you know, buying the system you know the games are going to be on in the first place. It's annoying. You don't see anyone who owns a 360 or PS3 making countless threads about why MadWorld SHOULD be on the HD consoles. If they want it that bad, they buy a Wii to play it.

And WaW Wii is not a gimped version. It has everything the HD console versions have except the graphics, but that should be expected because the Wii just isn't as powerful. If I were to use your logic, despite any sales of Wii games vs HD games, the Wii version will always "sell so well" despite being gimped.

But then again, if the versions are always gimped, why do you even want them?

Unfortunately entirely untrue.  

Wii version lacks:

Downloadable content

split-screen local multiplayer/ splitscreen online

Zombie mode

many of the maps the HD versions have

Many of the online modes the HD versions have

Vehicles

Destructable environments

It is without question a 'gimped' version.   Especially since Quantum of Solace Wii offers the split-screen online on the same damn CODMW engine that CoDWaW Wii uses.
