The guys kids are not going to care if Wall-E is on a regular DVD or Blueray. This guy is a parent, he probably doesn't want his kids shooting it up on COD, or KZ2. Also, the statement that adults don't know anything about gaming is just wrong, as was shown in my last post.

Uh... you don't know the situation the guy was in. And the point of pointing out WALL-E on blu-ray is to say Ps3 could be enjoyed by kids of that age (which is one of the reasons the OP gave to talk him out of it) Can the Wii even play DVDs? And are you that ignorant? Ps3 only has CoD and KZ2 now? What about LBP, R&C, and a bunch of multiplats that are T and below. And no duh adults know about gaming. The guy was specifically inquiring about the Ps3. Which means that's what he went in there for.

Whoa! Settle down! I was using those games as examples. The Wii obviously held the best value for the guy, it's cheaper, and it has games for the whole family including his wife. I'm sure he already has a DVD player. And, the fact that his decision on a gaming system was swayed, it's obviouse that he only knew approximately what he wanted. Stop your crying, if the guy really wanted a PS3, he would have bought one.
