How can you say they are lazy when they whipped out a multiplayer only shooter which has bested thus far Sony's best efforts in Killzone 2? Its obvious that they value being able to make better games than spending a bunch of time making a prettier game and getting over the architectural differences of the PS3.

Why would they want to continue working on an architecture with vertex and pixel shaders when they can focus on architectures with multithreaded rendering, tessellation, unified shaders which is essentially on the same track as their current and future PC development?

Why would they want to work on an architecture with asynchronous CPUs when their PC/Xbox 360 architectures share the same base of monolithic cores whilst having to explicititly code what the X86 and other CPU cores do automatically?
