Valve has nothing to base this decision on. MANY 3rd party multiplatform developers have had success on the Ps3 and will continue to support the system because it IS a viable platform. And these devs have gotten over the learning curve. Something valve will never achieve if they continue being pansy's about not trying to learn something they don't know about. Untill theymake an attempt their excuse is bullshit.

I am sure Valve knows its business model a lot better than you or Sony. Some companies are aware of their strengths and know how to strategically allocate resources on projects that will benefit the company's short-term and long-term objectives. The PS3 is not viable to Valve at the moment. You should deal with it and stop bashing the company.

Knowing when to say "no" is not being lazy. Discipline and self control is a lot better than burning through resources without a clear focus.

Maybe Sony should take note and exercise a little business sense. Hmph...
