I'm *seriously* considering restarting my company (Nocturnal) based around a business model purely for WiiWare. Its such a good opportunity - done the numbers, and its really impressive.
It will come down to clever ideas in the end - there will be a lot of games developed for it that will do 10k (or less) sales - which comes to around $50k in revenue.
From what I gather ERSB costs (and other) are paid by the developers, so there are some other overheads to cover. No idea what (if anything) Ninty is charging for submission fees or publishing fees.
Also - from what I heard, there is *no* approval process - just like "retail" publishing, companies are welcome to do whatever they want. They will however need a ESRB rating (in the US) before it will be released.
