I really dont see no local multi being a problem for the most part. Ive never cared for split screen...makes everything hard to see..and then you have the "HEY stop looking at my screen!" crap. Sure it would have been a nice additive for The Conduit...but taking away from the graphics would have been going against what HVS went after in the first place.
I think people seeing the conduit at a friends house will want to play and be forced to take turns...then later they'll go out and get their own game and play with their friends in full screen awesomness gloriousness! which will give more sales to the conduit!!! bwahaha!
