Just some thoughts.
Nintendo's new directions is selling consoles and games that people -- not just gamers -- want. That is something that a lot of gamers -- and game analysts -- have had a hard time figuring out.
As for SNESboy's points, I have to disagree with some.
I never quite figured out why there were two people on your kart in the GC version. So the bikes are fine with me.
I am deflated by the delay of Brawl. But I got goose bumbs seeing Sonic's scenes. He has gone from "urban legend" (in Melee) to actually being there. And that is a good thing.
On other matters, I want the games to be right (so late is better than rushed). Also, a HD device will have to come the Wii's way -- even if it is just a firmware update to recognize external USB drives. (Of course, you can always play the SD card swap game).

I am Mario.I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |
