It's fine for these 3rd parties to stand on the sideline and complain about dropping prices, but none of them will have to absorb the financial blow that Sony would have to take. Perhaps if these companies gave Sony a bigger cut out of their take home pay on the sale of a game, then perhaps that would soften the blow. However, I don't see any of them offering any incentives. Sure, they could threaten Sony by becoming wii/360 exclusive games, but I don't think that they would be willing to leave out a sizeable 20+ million chunk of their audience.
