She's a mean old rebel, full of hate, who wants revenge for something, and is racist against some group, not a cute airheaded chick. The VA is doing some great acting there. She is a vurnerable, beautiful girl deep down, but on the outside she is as hard as steel.
I picked all that up from the VA.
