Improved Battery Life

11:59 am $199 for 16GB, $299 for 32GB.
11:59 am Ships with iPhone OS 3.0 for $199.
11:58 am Most eco-friendly iPhone yet -- arsenic-free glass, BRF-free, mercury-free LCD, etc.
11:58 am Improved battery life. Now up to 9 hours of internet surfing, 10 hours of video, 30 hours of audio, 12 hours of 2g talk-time, 5 hours of 3g talk-time.

They desperately needed the improved battery life.  I always thought it was joke that the current ones barely last at all.  I was watching CNBC and they were also dissing the iPhone for lack of physical keyboard.  Not that I text nor will I ever buy a single Apple product.  At least they seemed to have fixed the shitty battery.  They should allow the current iPhone users to upgrade their batteries for cheap or exchange them for the new one for discount.  I heard they are trying to get it down to 100-150 in price but you probably have to do a bullshit contract extension in USA.  I use a cell only as a phone (I have one game on mine: Chessmaster).  I don't give a shit about texting, internet surfing, gaming, listening to music or anything like that.  Sure many people like an all in one device but if you lose that device you are screwed.  I'd rather have my mp3 player, my phone, and my handheld all seperate.  So if one breaks, gets stolen, or lost then I am not out of the others.
