I don't remember how I heard of Pikmin... probably through ign, which I think had another name back then. It was at a time when I still trusted the gaming media. Pikmin looked interesting, and after beating the first title I was highly anticipating the second, which I bought first day. Pikmin 3 will be preordered, but I won't buy NPC 1 and 2.
I still haven't completed Pikmin 2, as I was frustrated after several failed attempts to beat the robot spider in an underground level.
